Stop if something feels wrong

Do not continue a challenge through pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, weakness, or loss of balance. Seek medical help when appropriate.

Before using a movement challenge

  • Choose Push Ups only if the movement is appropriate for your health, fitness level, mobility, and current condition.
  • Ask a qualified health professional if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery, have a cardiovascular or musculoskeletal condition, or are otherwise unsure.
  • Do not attempt a challenge while impaired by alcohol, drugs, illness, severe sleep deprivation, or medication that affects balance or alertness.

Prepare the space

  • Clear the floor of cables, furniture edges, liquids, pets, and other obstacles.
  • Use a dry, stable, non-slip surface with enough room for the full movement.
  • Place your iPhone securely where it cannot fall onto you or be knocked over.
  • Use enough light for the camera to see you without creating glare or strong backlight.
  • Keep other people out of the camera view where possible and respect their privacy.

Use a form that is right for you

WakePact verifies movement; it is not a coach and does not assess exercise technique, injury risk, or medical fitness. Use a range of motion that you can control safely. Do not rush, hold your breath, or sacrifice stability to finish before the timer.

Alarm reliability

WakePact uses supported Apple alarm frameworks, but alarms can still be affected by device power, permissions, operating-system behavior, sound settings, hardware, or conditions outside our control. Do not rely on any single software alarm for safety-critical obligations or emergencies. Use an independent backup alarm when a missed alert could create serious harm, danger, or financial loss.

Not medical care

WakePact is a wellness and habit-building tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, monitoring, treatment, emergency response, sleep therapy, or a fitness assessment. Content in the app and on this site is general information and is not a substitute for professional care.

Report a safety concern

If you discover a product behavior that could create a safety risk, stop using the affected feature and contact jujiguang@gmail.com with your iPhone model, iOS version, WakePact version, and a written description.
